We The People video archive
I hadn’t seen this until last week—recordings of We The People1 on NDTV Videos section. It takes some effort to get to, if you’re looking for a particular episode. Here’s how:
ndtv.com → Click on Videos → Under the Prime Shows section, click More.. → Click on NDTV24×7 (in the black bar top menu—below Select Category) → In the opening section, go to the bottom of the page2 to locate We The People → Click More.. to see all previous recordings.
The only reason I am taking this pain is because the program itself is exceptionally good. The wide range of topics, the diversity of participants and the openness of approach to discussed subject not only makes this show a must watch, but also learn a thing or two about India today. Let me say this—it is one of the two television programs I watch every week without a miss.
For people with no access to NDTV around the world, the video archives on the web are good; though I wish they were more easily accessible—than the long wind-down, as I mentioned above. I also wish it was possible to link to individual episodes—to get some inclusive conversation going on the web.34
- We The People is a talk show hosted by Barkha Dutt, and aired on Sundays on NDTV 24×7 [←]
- It is alphabetically ordered, and hence it is at the bottom of the heap. [←]
- I did bother to send a feedback to NDTV about this, by the way. [←]
- Personally, every episode evokes me to add some thoughts and I occasionally end up writing at length. [←]
