The Love Bug

It was—I think—in the seventies that I got to see Walt Disney’s The Love Bug and totally loving it. I remember going to school the next day and spent the entire lunch hour narrating the story to my classmates. My food remained untouched while others ate.

I didn’t realize that watching a movie about a cutesy car with a mind of its own sort of connects with kids. No matter what the time or year it is. So when I played Herbie Fully Loaded DVD this weekend, it was fun to see the excitement in Aaryana’s eyes, much like mine some 27 years ago. Lindsay Lohan, being a cool “barbie like” driver, helped too.
