Snail’s Pace
I’m holding the move to WP until July. Then, I’ll have more time to do things like moving, installing, tweaking and testing. I know, I know, I happened to mention that it’s a 2-minute job a while ago. Well, it really is (and I’ve already convinced myself by test-installing a beta). But, I’d rather like to enjoy that process by doing stuff like code commenting, skinning, print style, navigation templates, other geeky stuff, custom view source text, ip-id, cool 404s, the works at my pace; not to mention PizzaHut / McD orders uninterrupted for a week or more =) I’d like to see that code sing - sounds pretty stupid (lol) - that’s just me; practising the art of perfection is often painful and joyful both at the same time and in equal proportions.
Why after July? That’s because Sneha and the kids will be off to India for a long holiday. By then, who knows, I might as well have many more plugins by WP enthusiasts that are already churning out new code by the day.
