Roller blades

Instead of re-working on the contact tutorial, I worked this morning on a better image roller for the banner. It was a static image earlier, but now it rolls. A new image every time you hit refresh or visit a section. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. I got some time to work on it this week. The work was not the code itself, but getting those images to load relatively faster using a suitable compression and quality level. It’s a lot of work!

I hope I have an acceptable set. Let’s go refresh.

Nice touch and the images don’t take too long to load either (56k lines in Australia) and btw your new site design looks very neat.

Thanks Suman. The reason for the design was mainly to add some color to my layout and keeping the markup extremely lean without extra divs as the older one took quite a few extra divs to accomplish the intended look. I didn’t want the extra clutter however nice it did look. So a simpler less overwhelming design.
