Sneha didn’t like my immediate previous layout. When my critic comments, I have to sit up and notice. In this case, I didn’t even pass the primary aesthetic one. So, out it goes.
I struggled initially with getting a pure CSS layout. Damn, every browser showed the darned thing in its own fancy way. Hence, pure CSS is out. This one is now part tables and part CSS. Let each element do what it’s supposed to do instead of over working one and ignoring the other completely. A lesson learnt. May be when browsers and standards mature, I might think of a pure liquid CSS layout. Until then, tables and CSS stay happily married on my site.
