Putrajaya, a dream world

We took a break today and went to visit Putrajaya—a beautifully and methodically planned ministerial township.

It has lavishly designed government buildings, exquisitely designed cable-stayed bridges, impressive landmarks in addition to streets, pavements, walkways and beautiful parks that hold visitors in awe and wonder.

It’s a true delight to an architect and a town-planner and I’m sure that he or she would spend days studying this marvelous town. So, it’s no wonder when our own in-house architects (my wife Sneha and her dad) went berserk with their cameras.

Among other things, Putrajaya has one of the largest man-made lakes and plays host to F1 Power Boat Racing every year bringing in hoards of local and foreign fans, just like the F1 at Sepang.
