Phone update
My wife’s phone survived miraculously after being dipped in a bucket full of water. She took out the the cover and the battery, wiped the unit clean, placed it vertically for a few hours and then left it on the DSL modem for the rest of the night.
My own phone survived too but not as easily. I had to replace the speaker that had gone bad.
