No delivery home

McDonalds and Pizzahut surprise me. They don’t deliver home in Holland1. Is that a policy? Because if it is, they’re losing big time.

Given a choice, I’d take Pizzahut’s pan pizza any time they’re placed alongside Dominos, but because Dominos delivers home, we will run with them. Curry and Shoarma flavors are really nice.

  1. Pizzahut appears to be selective in where they can deliver. []

McDonald’s has never delivered food in the States nor any other country I have lived on (Spain and UK). Pizza Hut does, but Pizza Hut is a franchise, which certain means, each franchise does it in a slightly different way.

Curry and Shoarma flavors?! Interesting, never saw anything like it in here. Another peeves of running a franchise too, I guess.

Oh? In Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia, every McD joint offered home delivery. It’s not really free, but it’s not expensive either — most definitely cheaper than going down and getting it yourself.

We’ve seen a lot of popular local flavors. If you go to KFC in India, the choice is really nice. Shoarma is a turkish favorite, while Curry for the Dutch Surinamis (native Indians migrated to Suriname a province of NL) living here.
