Nicholas Carr talks about the need for the internet community to put in place some controls on the accessibility of some online content in the best interests of the society.

If the internet community doesn’t police itself, it may well end up being policed by the police.

My gut instinct? Hell yes, I have kids. In two years time, they will be actively seeking stuff on the internet. We—and most importantly they—need some warning bells whenever they inadvertently try crossing the borders of the dark side.
