Maps in hurricane affected areas

Something wonderful is happening at Katrinahelp.info, which now is also acting as a clearing house for people and places affected by hurricane Rita. Guys at FoundCity are helping the folks at Katrinahelp and they’re using Google Maps API to tag and add info on anything related to the affected areas.

Rudi, one of the admins and initiators of Katrinahelp.info, hacked-up a nice interface to be embedded into the Wiki, within 2 hours of the code available from FoundCity. Here’s the test page. Amazing!
