Limping back
I guess, this site is barely limping back to normalcy since today. I have been spending strenuous amount of time and effort—much to the dismay of my better half—on this site yet again in trying to fix something that was never broken. But break I did last week, when I changed some basics in the way this site worked. I changed the feed, I changed the links, I changed—the hell—all.
And just when I thought I had it, my system began to shake and I began to experience unknown (buggy) behaviour in my software, causing me to flinch at the problems. I held on until yesterday until I made it all work, worked around problems and patched it with fixes. Then, it hit me that I had spent so much good time in trying to make this pig fly, that I thought it wasn’t worth the effort in the first place at all.
So, I’m now back as usual. A week’s effort wasted, a couple of lost posts in transition, not to mention so many dead pings in your RSS readers and on my system. And with a bitter taste in my mouth and Sneha’s I told you so look.
The weblog is now back again at: ckunte.com and the feed is back again at: ckunte.com/feed/. A thousand apologies for redirecting folks reading this blog. I guess more lines get added to my htaccess file to correct my week’s foolhardy. Except for the two lost posts, all links are back as before. Nothing lost, no link broken. I guess, that matters in the end. Regular programming continues from now on without further fuss about change in URLs and links.

Nothing lost at bloglines. Your blog appears without any problems.
