Jakarta rocked
A friend and a former colleague of mine in Jakarta sent some shocking pictures of the car-bomb that went off outside the Australian embassy. He says:
..just 30 minutes ago, a big bomb attack occurred here in Jakarta. Around 3 kilometers from here, a corporation office was bombed, big blast and our office building shaken, we can see the bomb smoke through the window, and rushed down 17-floors through stairs. People going home, all streets are jammed.
I feel like it’s a distraction/scare tactics by the Howard Government to win upcoming federal election here in Australia. Bit of money here and there and a fool blows himself up; a Government retains its seat for one more term.
