India travel site
I have been direly looking for something like Cleartrip [via Rajan]. I have been struggling to get my domestic travel plans in order. So, smashing services like Cleartrip look like a great service.
I am yet to book my travel plans, but I have already registered with it, because it is so unobtrusively cool and fast. They also look like no-nonsense people when it comes to getting the job done. And this generation is in a hurry. Thank goodness, some good ones are keeping-up with our genuine need.
Sneha pointed out another wonderful service in India for expatriates called: Your Man In India. I’ll be the first to tell you that when it comes to getting things done, there’s nothing that beats an excellent online service.
Let’s hope that Cleartrip lives up to its promise. Guys, do you have a blog?
Update: Has anyone used these services before? If yes, I would really be interested in knowing your experiences. Thanks in advance.

Hi Chyetanya,
I’m one of the founders of Cleartrip, thanks a million for the compliments. It’s people like you that keep us going
We’re still in beta, and we’re working hard to make your travel simple. So, stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted when we’re ready with changes.
cheers

>>Guys, do you have a blog?
You mean cleartrip guys having blogs or users who used cleartrip having blogs?
As for cleartrip—http://hrush.squarespace.com is the blog of one of cleartrip’s founder
Jul 27, 06 at 16:33Regarding cleartrip users who bought tickets..i dont know but i can guarantee that its not another fly by night operator who has no idea abt business model.
Hi Hrush, a good service speaks for itself, as I noticed from Cleartrip’s highly usable and uncluttered website.
I have been struggling on individual airline websites just to get a quote, and let me tell you, it is draining.
As users, the least we can do is talk about it and tell others about the wonderful services such as Cleartrip. It helps to see passionate people behind such projects.
It’s nice to know that you’re open to feedback, my turn to say thanks for taking your time to read and comment on this blog.
Jul 27, 06 at 17:02Mukund, I was looking for Cleartrip’s blog. Cleartrip is a wonderful example of maximum functionality with minimalism. It would be a shame if they didn’t have a blog and connect with customers. But like Hrush says, it’s on its way.
Honestly, we need examples to show the service industry and say: look this is possible, so why can’t you?. And everybody benefits in the end.
Many thanks for pointing out about Hrush’s blog. He has already replied.
