My (this) site has been compromised. It was sending phishing attacks to Wells Fargo bank. Nick from Bradimensions informed me of this (thanks, man). Upon checking my public_html, I see so many suspicious folders and files that I never created. All with a potential intent for phishing. There’s BOA, PayPal, eBay. They have very long filenames that is making me impossible to rename or delete those files or folders, because of timing out at 20s.

I’m checking with my host on what went wrong.

Update: I’m barely back. So many folders to delete. I’ve been a slacker with regards to passwords. There’s probably no other way to explain this mess. I hope I’ve ended it now. Many thanks to my host Exabytes for helping me weed the cruft off my domain. Looks like I’m not so bad, compared to the Google guys. They accidentally deleted their own blog!
