Group meetups of the physical kind are fun, interactive and they bring in a fresh sense of belonging within the group. As a founding member of the group, I am thrilled to note the initiatives taken by my former colleagues and friends towards getting us together for an evening of chat, shoptalk, family fun and some great food.

Our group’s first meetup kick-started in Jakarta in May. It was quickly followed by one in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and recently in Brisbane. Singapore and Dubai will soon be having theirs too.

In all this, it is the team spirit and a sense of belonging that brings people together. The fun part, of-course, is in sharing each of the events with others on the group via pictures and stories via our group’s website.
