Flickr’s new uploadr

Flickr has a new Uploadr (I noticed this when I whipped up the old one to upload some pictures). And, it’s both a pain and joy to use. A pain because you’ll now have to authenticate (or login) first on the web before you can upload via Uploadr every time. The joy with the new version is that you can select the set before uploading. Why can’t we just have the joy? I guess this is why.

Update [Sep 2]: It’s all merry now. No more authentication every time.

I dont know but I kind of have had a problem using Uploadr. After a few seconds of file transfer it suddenly says Internet connection not found. However when I log into flickr online I see that the photos have been uploaded. Wonder why?

Kapil: You could post on Flickr support. See if they can help. I’ve seen it happen too sometimes, but it’s not often.
