Dutch accessibility standards

While the Dutch may be firing on wrong cylinders in some aspects (my personal opinion, of course), they certainly are firing on the right ones for the web, on the web.

If this interpretation of this law1 is right, then their new accessibility law is just fantastic.

I have been reading about e-Governance initiative happening in India with a profound interest, via Dataquest’s dedicated section on the topic. I am sure some of those initiatives can take a page or two from the Dutch.
