Every year around the time of Vijay Dashmi (or Dussehra) festival, Sneha and I donate a small amount to our chosen NGO: CRY, Child Relief and You. That small amount, when measured in terms of what we earn, scales a lot heavier in our personal happiness, sanity and karma.

We do this because we believe that no child should be denied basic necessities of life, education and healthcare. If you believe in such things, do something to make a difference. Let there be a smile on a little one’s face when she sees fresh cooked food in her plate or when she has a new slate to write.

CRY has been a selected NGO of my dad. Once a year he tried to donate some money in the form of charity or buy purchasing products made by CRY students specially the paintaing greeting cards.
