Breathless writing

Often, I encounter sites, blogs and write-ups that are a good to read, but provide very poor visual format. With extensive use of CSS, the practice of using fixed fonts is rampant (including yours truly). If the font happens to be too small and the layout is auto-stretch based on browser window resize, it’s very difficult to read a line without jumping out at some point.

Also, I’ve noticed people write at a pace - more like people in a hurry to put their idea or thought to paper without formatting their content to a decipherable size of paragraphs and breaks that the eye is comfortable with.

This breathless writing with no taste for formatting drives me away from such sites. It’s one of the prime reasons that my layout is a fixed width format that is easy while reading a line, sentence or a paragraph. The content width, in my view, fits well - with sentence length v/s the font size ratio.

Ever thought like that while creating a blog or while reading them online?
