Back

I decided to get myself a new host, instead of my ill conceived plans of ditching the site altogether. I realized how much I missed it all after this site went down last week.

During this time, I realized that these are also the times that stand through. It was heartening to see friends setting-up a mailing list, recommending alternate hosts, offer server space, provide helpful tips about certain hosts, so I could continue writing.

To me, this is most rewarding. The thought that you would be missed is—like the Mastercard ad—”priceless”. To all friends, you know who you are. A humble note of thanks for the care.

My new host is Site5. The older posts you see here are those that were written during my absence from this domain.

I would like to welcome you back—dear reader—to join me in my eternal quest of life, dreams, technology, perfection, rhythm and melody.

    Patrix: 8-). Thanks.

No, I wasn’t threatening (why would I, and who would care anyway). It was more of a frustration. To see the cruft coming in via a compromised server. The phishing stuff was annoying as well as scary. My site was becoming an involuntary host to phishing attacks and I couldn’t control it. For a moment, I thought it wasn’t worth continuing because of the implications.

I think we all know the answer to the second part of that question. Welcome back.
