All packed
I let my foot loose listening to You and me by Lifehouse, while Sneha and I pack our stuff for our trip to India. Last week has been pretty hectic getting my work done so I could take this vacation after postponing twice. I’ll be in Bangalore on Monday and it’s going to be one heck of a day as I have tons of stuff on my todo list, before proceeding to my hometown, Belgaum.
Belgaum must be a story by now, as it usually is when monsoon hits this time of the year. I expect my windbreakers to leak, not to mention slippery moss covered floors and a completely drenched town. So, it’s a stay home, hit the couch, watch the tube and sip coffee time. It’s also time to check batteries and rev-up my beaten scooter for scouts around town with my older kid (she loves riding with me; so does her mom :)). It’s time for a lazy morning game of Squash with my dad’s friends at Belgaum club, provided I’m up by 7.00am in the morning =). I also hope to find some time to visit my college and meet my professors at GIT.
Since, it a season of blame-it-on-the-monsoon, expect a hiatus from my blogging, which by the way reminds me, I’ve got tons of patches and downloads for my mom’s pc. Hope it’s going to be a painless process. It’s also time to renew or review her ISP. The last time I visited, Reliance had dug-up the entire town installing optical cables. Let’s hope something comes out of all that mud thrown-up.
That’s it, I’m all done and ready to go.
