I just turned on Akismet on this blog. Akismet is Matt’s latest plugin and service to the blogging community, and free for personal use. Akismet, to me, looks like a central repository of white lists. I guess, Ping-O-Matic must have given him enough data for this new service. You’ll need an API key from Wordpress.com to be able to run Akismet. I used one from my dormant account on Wordpress.com.
