Ahoy, WordPress themes ahead

Wed, 2 Mar 2005 at 19:23 • Filed under Blog, Themes

I’m busy working on themes for my WordPress 1,5 install, like the one you see right now. This one’s called Plain and Simple. To the überfickle me, the built-in theme-switcher in WordPress fuels my insatiable appetite for change as moods sashay. Flick of a button and I change the decor at will.

There’s a contest coming-up btw, at Alex King for the latest and greatest WordPress themes. If you’re on WP, do stay tuned there, or better still, develop one if have an artist’s bone in you.

New site layout is looking good, back to the whites eh? :D So are you planning to participate in Alex’s theme competition?

Love the theme, (found at the competition site) but I made a minor edit you might wish to incorporate:
This has it output the name of the link category, rather than the word “Link”, at the top of each category:

    69c69
    Links

    > cat_name); ?>
    71c71
    cat_id); ?>

    > cat_id)); ?>

Glad you approve, Andrew. I have the slightly updated theme here that takes care of some minor things (otherwise not noticeable). Btw, your head piece (banner.jpg) should be 480×270 at least.
