Adios Blogger
After a dedication, I finally bid goodbye to my favorite blog management service—Blogger and my alt-blog. Not just at being a service, Blogger provided me an opportunity to relearn the business of writing and managing content online. Its variety of templates that housed the CSS styles inline allowed me to get a grasp of the simple yet beautiful world of styling sheets.
After over two years of using server-side weblog software such as Greymatter (2002), Movabletype (2002-2004) and now WordPress (2004 onwards) on my domain, I feel confident that I can use a blog software on my own and that I’m able to manage my posts across platforms whenever (and if in future) they change. Also, my alt-blog was dividing posts across two blogs. With the closure of my alt-blog, I’ll finally be able to capture stuff on this space without division of posts across blogs.
Its a good move. Keeping track of two blogs is difficult. After the style change on this blog, I think you made the right decision. This is just great!

BTW cool blog…

Abhishek, thanks. I have been running my own cms for a while (since mid-2002), btw. It’s just that I didn’t let go of my 2nd blog (powered by Blogger) all those two years.
