A lovely gift
The other day my boss walked into my cubicle and said “I’ve got a gift for you.” For a moment, I thought he was kidding me. But to my surprise, he brought forward something gift wrapped. He said, “the DnV guy was here and handed this to me to be given to you”. Just to be sure I asked my boss: “Is this some kind of a joke?”. He looked at me for a moment and said “No, apparently you wrote a review about GeniE a while ago.”
Ah, it all came back. And I wondered how thoughtful. I wouldn’t have accepted anything other than this: a silk tie. I usually don’t wear one, but guys, whoever you are, thanks for the gesture. Appreciate it.
